此茶為限量精選品種，與清香型相比，產地海拔更高，香氣、口感、韻味更好。

此茶特色在於完全手採軟嫩茶菁。其焙製方法獨特，具有高海拔金萱特有的幽雅香氣，茶汤带有特別的品種奶香味，香氣飽滿醇厚，入口後滿口含芳，溫暖舒適，喉韻無窮。

注意：金萱的奶香應該是融於茶湯中的，市面上有一種所謂“奶香烏龍茶”，其幹茶就能夠聞到明顯的奶香，那是加了香料的原因。
